By analyzing the limitations and benefits of this terminology, we gain insights into the significance of shifonemas within the scientific community and beyond. The study of Limited Use Vocabulary (LUV) has gained significant attention in the field of linguistics. This theory suggests that speakers use a limited vocabulary in their daily communication, choosing words that are most frequently used in their language. In the case of French shifonemas, this theory can be applied to understand the particularity of their vocabulary of limited use. French shifonemas are a unique vocabulary of limited use because they represent a specialized language used by botanists, gardeners, and other plant enthusiasts. These names have evolved over time and are based on the Latin scientific nomenclature system, which is used worldwide to classify plants. |
