Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

The International Journal of Language, Linguistics, Literature and Culture (IJLLLC) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. Duties of Authors

  • Plagiarism: Authors must ensure that submitted work is free from plagiarism, and that all sources are properly cited.
  • Authorship: Only individuals who made a significant contribution to the research should be listed as authors.
  • Conflict of Interest: All financial or personal conflicts of interest must be disclosed.
  • Ethical Approval: Research involving humans or animals must have proper ethical clearance and consent.
  • Corrections: Authors must promptly inform the editors of any errors discovered post-publication.

Duties of Reviewers

  • Confidentiality: Manuscripts must be treated as confidential documents.
  • Objectivity: Reviews should be fair, unbiased, and supported by clear reasoning.
  • Timeliness: Reviewers should complete evaluations within the given timeframe.
  • Acknowledgment: Reviewers must identify relevant published work not cited by authors.
  • Conflict of Interest: Reviewers must decline to review manuscripts where a conflict exists.

Duties of Editors

  • Fair Evaluation: Editors evaluate manuscripts based solely on academic merit, without bias.
  • Confidentiality: Manuscripts and reviewer identities remain confidential.
  • Integrity: Editors must not use unpublished material for personal research.
  • Publication Decisions: All papers are reviewed by at least two qualified reviewers, and decisions are based on scholarly quality and relevance.
  • Misconduct Handling: Editors follow COPE flowcharts for any ethical concerns, including plagiarism or data manipulation.
