Abstract: The research aims to find out how the transitivity level of verb which is formed through affixation process. The data sources of this research are taken from Covid-19 article in online newspaper of Kompas.com published on 1 January 2022 until 7 January 2022. The theory used in this research as to show the transitivity level of the data is taken from Hopper and Thompson (1980) by using 10 transitivity parameters. The research finds 3 sentences using suffix (-kan) which tend to have high level in terms of transitivity. |
